1. Who we are
Icubya ("we", "us") operates a partner commerce platform that lets fans browse partner shops, place orders, and pay via mobile money (MTN MoMo and Airtel Money) in Rwanda.
2. Data we collect
- Phone number — for OTP sign-in, checkout, and payment initiation.
- Email address — optional at checkout for receipts and profile verification.
- Order history — products purchased, amounts, status, and timestamps.
- Device/app data — basic technical logs needed to operate the service (no advertising ID collection).
3. How we use data
We use your information to:
- Authenticate you and show your order history
- Process orders and mobile-money payments
- Send OTP and transactional SMS messages
- Prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations
4. Sharing
We share data only with payment providers, SMS gateways, partner operators fulfilling your order, and regulators when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
Account profile data is deleted when you delete your account. Order and payment records may be retained for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution as required by law.
6. Your rights
You may:
- Request access to or correction of your data
- Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or via our account deletion page

7. Security
We use HTTPS for API communication, encrypted token storage on mobile devices, and access controls on our servers. Never share your OTP with anyone.
8. Children
Icubya is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
